Working for Bayan Blue

Bayan Blue CrewBayan Blue runs luxury crewed yachting holidays. Key to our success are the crew themselves.

Our crews have to be able to run yachting holidays for discerning clients. Customer care is paramount, along with local knowledge and technical skills.

Bayan Blue provide accommodation on board our yachts, uniform, health insurance, meals while on charter and a competitive pay and bonus package. Unlike our competitors, our contracts are UK-based, giving our employees the same rights they enjoy in the UK.

Please read on to find out if you could be suitable for Bayan Blue.

General Introduction

Our crews must work together as a team to ensure our clients have the best possible holiday. While each member has a distinct role, there is a great deal of crossover. The skipper must be able to assist the chef with the food preparation and the chef must be able to sail the yacht.

We place great emphasis on the social skills of our crews - our guests should feel that the yacht is their home for the week.

To help put our guests at ease, our crew must act as the perfect hosts - we place more emphasis on table manners than we do on sailing ability. While running a 50' yacht is no easy task, our crews are challenged to adapt their behaviour to suit their guests' preferences.

Accommodation onboard our yacht is in double, en-suite, air conditioned cabins - hence our crew must be couples.
