Dave & Helen

Dave first dipped his toe in the marine leisure industry in 1998 working as a water sports instructor. Experience skippering survey vessels and refinishing superyachts followed, before running a successful charter yacht in the Aegean.

After several seasons running top class ski chalets in France, Dave returned to yachting, working as a flotilla skipper in the Ionian, before joining Bayan Blue to skipper one of our luxury yachts.

Dave is an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and a PADI qualified rescue diver. When he gets some spare time, he likes to windsurf and snowboard.

In his younger days, Dave was a TGI Friday's bar tender - don't forget to sample some of the 100 cocktails he can mix up!

Helen graduated from Leeds Met. University in Business and Events Management before working as an events coordinator for British Aerospace - including organising Parliamentary briefings in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

After a stint working in the catering industry, Helen worked with Dave aboard a charter yacht in the Aegean. Several seasons working as a chef in a ski chalet followed, before travelling to Greece as a flotilla hostess and then joining Bayan Blue.

Helen is keen on water sports and was recently the cox for Southsea Rowing Club. She holds a PADI open water qualification.
